June 9, 2017The NATSO Foundation, NATSO, American Trucking Associations and the American Transportation Research Institute, have come up with and launched the “Park My Truck” app. This app is going to assist truck drivers with the age long question of where to rest and park their big rigs.
The app is available on both Android and iPhone marketplaces for free.
The app is simple to use which is perfect for tired truck drivers out there on the open road. Using your smartphone’s GPS, the app is able pull up all the parking spaces available for trucks. You can set the app to virtually locate a rest stop within any distance relevant to your location. Whether you are on the highway or in the city, this app will have your back and make sure you rest at the closest facility. Clicking on a location will pull up all the details including the total number of spaces, facility type, phone number, address, and more.
No matter what the situation is, parking a truck can be difficult during any type of delivery. The Park My Truck app sheds light on lesser-known parking spaces and ensures that drivers know where to park to get the rest they need.
